Looks like it looses elevator on landings. any way to increase elevator throw to get more flare? or can the batteries go back a bit?

Not a Zero and not a snap....but other than that

I was shocked at how well it flew with that 16000mah battery. I figured that it would feel real heavy and sluggish on the plane but it wasn’t at all! It literally lifts off the ground with no elevator input on take off! As we fly it more and more we are learning that the RQ-7 is just as docile as any high wing trainer. If it had dihedral in it would be a full blown trainer! I was pleasantly surprised not having to fight any tendencies of bad behavior! Every time we put it together at the field it draws a crowd and 1000 questions! With its long tail moment of almost 4’ behind the wing on carbon tubes she is mega stable. The Bomb racks are already installed on the RQ-7 if you look closely in the video. We will be adding the bombs empty and trying the release mechanisms to see how well that works and if all is good we gonna load the bombs with flour to see how well it carries the load and practice bombing runs. It is just simple to fly and easy to land that anyone can fly the RQ-7!

I too have this plane, flies great, easy ARF to build. I have a DLE-30cc and added a Sullivan smoke pump. Really stands out in the sky. Only problem I have is the landing gear tends to spread, even on normal landings.

You had one of the best shows that I have seen last night. Your guest is very innovative and speaks very well. He certainly has a lot going on and seems to love what he is doing. We did get a lot of thumbs up last night. I enjoyed your show.
